  • Directions

  • Suggested uses for clary sage essential oil:
  • Adults: add 5-20 drops to 10ml of a carrier oil of your choice (like fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil) for local application.
  • Add 4-12 drops to a bowl of steaming water/facial steamer and inhale deeply for 5-10 minutes.
  • For massage, add 5-25 drops to 20ml of carrier oil.
  • Add 1-5 drops to your diffuser of choice; add additional drops as desired.
  • Licensed uses for clary sage essential oil:
  • Used in aromatherapy to soothe digestive discomfort, headaches, sore throats and muscular aches and pains.
  • Our diffuser blends are compatible with all ultrasonic diffusers.

The aromatic flowering tops of this tall herb are steam distilled to produce an essential oil that is rich, musky and nutty, with regulating and stabilizing effects. Clary sage is widely regarded as the oil that represents the 'sacred feminine.' For this reason, it's often included in products formulated to support balance and harmony through periods of significant transition, as well as to soothe and ground difficult emotions. On a physical level this oil has a calmative effect to ease discomfort and imbalance.

"Really disappointed in SAJE's new formulation for Clary Sage. It smelled so bad, like a different product altogether. I loved the previous product, so I took the two bottles to a local SAJE store and exchanged them for the older stock, which was still great. Buyer beware. SAJE check your stock."

"I hadn't bought from Sage in years and it shows! I ordered online and the extra packaging is innovative. Thin cardboard cylinders that can be recycled are very smart. So kudos for that. The bottles are a lot smaller than in the past, but then most everyday items have either gone up in price or decreased in amount. The quality seems good. There are so many essential oil companies, it must t be hard to stay competitive. Would I buy again from Saje? I might, because they are the only company with a store front near me."

"Very nice fragrance. Earthy but a nice herbal alternative to the more musky sandalwood or patchouli fragrances. I tend to use the sage fragrance in morning as a wake me up vs the calming just chillin effect of sandalwood or patchouli later in the day. Can’t go wrong with either if you ask me so buy both."
