Yes, the Aroma Roam is a portable diffuser that is cordless and rechargeable. We made this diffuser to move with you, for anyone seeking a diffuser that goes beyond their home setup - in the car, for travel (think of places like your hotel room) and in smaller spaces like a home office. Because a car is a smaller space, we suggest starting with a lower number of drops and adding more according to your preference.

Because the Aroma Roam is an ultrasonic diffuser that uses water and pure essential oils, you get to choose exactly how strong you’d like the aroma to be. Depending on where it’s being placed, we recommend starting with about 5 drops and seeing how you’re enjoying it. If you’d like to increase the scent intensity, add only a few drops at a time. Because it’s a small unit intended for smaller spaces, we do not suggest exceeding 15 drops per refill.

The Aroma Roam can be cleaned in the same way as any of our at-home use ultrasonic diffusers. We suggest our Diffuser Care Cleaning Kit: Add a small amount of Multi Clean to the tank of the diffuser when it’s off and unplugged. Using the cotton cloth included, wipe away the residue in the interior tank until it feels smooth and oil-free. The small circular disk at the bottom and in the middle of the water tank is responsible for creating mist and needs to be kept clean; use a small amount of Multi Clean and a Q-tip to carefully clean residue out of this area. We suggest cleaning your diffuser approximately every 10-15 uses, or when you change diffuser blend scents according to your preference.

Please don’t use sedating or overly relaxing blends when operating a vehicle. We suggest using blends that are known to be uplifting, refreshing and that will help ensure you stay present and alert while operating a vehicle, like our citrusy Liquid Sunshine, a minty blend like Refresh or an invigorating blend like Mountain High. 

For use at home or while traveling (outside of a vehicle), you can use any of our 100% pure essential oil diffuser blends, according to your preference. Please do not use any carrier oils in the unit as it will cause it to malfunction.
